Well, those specs indiciate that I am looking for a somewhat strong and fast machine. Obivously it should be able to do the regular stuff, such as Office, Internet and Multimedia playing.
Other from that I would like to use it for music recording and editing, and gameplaying, which normally demands a stronger pc.
*facepalm*
My laptop, 2 generations old machine, can do all that.. Can't you be a bit more specific with gaming parts? Is it WoW or Battlefield 3 you wanna play?? Do you care much about eye-candy, or can you go down a bit?
You only need a proper (=not always most expensive) sound card for your music recording and 8 GB of DDR3-1333 should be more than fine for now.
If you're a budget-minded user, SSD will be a waste. Sure, your PC will start faster, levels in games will load faster, file copying will be faster.. But you're in no rush are you, shaving off 10 seconds here and there at an expense of 1500 kroner? Why not use that money to buy an even better screen/sound card/keyboard/a proper office chair?
Take my advice, DO NOT buy a X58 platform,as Niz suggested..
I'd also wait with buying a GFX card, since AMD is introducing its next-gen card in September or so, or maybe go with a 2GB version of AMD HD6950.
Once again, what is your screen resolution?
What is your budget?NINJA EDIT: I can also help out with building it, if you want
